Welcome to First Coast Baby Rentals ("FCBR," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your rental of baby and beach gear equipment ("Equipment"). By placing a reservation, submitting a booking, or using our website, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Rental Agreement

By booking with First Coast Baby Rentals, you enter into a rental agreement for the specific Equipment, dates, and delivery/pickup location selected at checkout. All rentals are subject to availability and confirmation by FCBR.

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding contract to place a reservation.

2. Service Area

FCBR provides delivery and pickup services throughout Northeast Florida (including St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Amelia Island, Jacksonville Beaches, Vilano Beach, and Crescent Beach) and the Golden Isles of Georgia (including Sea Island, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, and Brunswick). Deliveries outside these areas may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.

3. Reservations & Payment

A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or an agreed-upon deposit at the time of booking.
Prices are as listed on our website at the time of booking and are subject to change without notice for future reservations.
We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. All charges are processed securely through our payment provider.
A valid credit or debit card may be required on file for the duration of the rental to cover any applicable damage, cleaning, or late fees.

4. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations made [X] or more days before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund [or store credit — adjust to your policy].
Cancellations made within [X] days of the rental start date are non-refundable / eligible for [partial refund/credit only].
Date changes and Equipment substitutions are subject to availability and must be requested at least [X] hours/days in advance.
FCBR reserves the right to cancel or modify a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, equipment failure, safety concerns), in which case a full refund or comparable substitute will be offered.

5. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery and pickup windows will be communicated prior to your rental period. FCBR will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested times but cannot guarantee exact delivery/pickup times due to factors such as traffic, weather, and prior deliveries.
Customer must ensure someone 18 years or older is available to receive and inspect Equipment at delivery, and to return Equipment at pickup.
If FCBR is unable to complete delivery or pickup due to Customer's unavailability, incorrect address, or inaccessible location, additional trip fees may apply.
It is the Customer's responsibility to provide accurate delivery information, including gate codes, building access instructions, and any relevant property restrictions (e.g., HOA or resort policies).

6. Equipment Condition, Use & Inspection

All Equipment is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and inspected prior to each rental.
Customer agrees to inspect Equipment upon delivery and report any visible damage or defects to FCBR immediately (within [X] hours of delivery). Failure to report will be presumed acceptance of Equipment in good condition.
Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and any safety guidance provided by FCBR.
Customer agrees not to alter, modify, disassemble (beyond normal setup/breakdown), or attempt to repair any Equipment.

7. Customer Responsibility, Damage & Loss

Customer is responsible for the Equipment from the time of delivery until pickup or return.
Customer agrees to use Equipment only at the agreed rental location and not to relocate Equipment to a different address without prior authorization from FCBR.
In the event of damage, loss, theft, or excessive wear beyond normal use, Customer will be charged for repair or replacement at the current market value of the item, up to its full retail replacement cost.
Excessively soiled Equipment returned in a condition requiring deep cleaning may incur a cleaning fee.
Late returns not authorized in advance may incur additional daily rental charges.

8. Safety & Assumption of Risk

Baby and child safety equipment (car seats, cribs, high chairs, strollers, etc.) must always be used under adult supervision and installed/assembled according to manufacturer instructions.
FCBR provides Equipment "as is" for the rental period, and while all items are inspected and maintained, Customer assumes all risk associated with the use of the Equipment.
FCBR is not responsible for injury, harm, or damages resulting from improper use, misuse, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, or failure to properly supervise a child while Equipment is in use.
Car seats and other child restraint systems are inspected for recalls and expiration dates prior to rental; however, Customer is responsible for verifying proper installation, including having installation checked by a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician if desired.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Coast Baby Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the rental or use of Equipment, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of use, except where such liability arises from FCBR's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

FCBR's total liability under this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by Customer for the applicable rental.

10. Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless First Coast Baby Rentals and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of Customer's use or misuse of the Equipment, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.

11. Weather & Beach Equipment

Beach and outdoor Equipment (canopies, wagons, chairs, umbrellas, etc.) are subject to weather conditions. FCBR is not responsible for damage to beach Equipment caused by wind, rain, tides, or other weather events, though Customer should take reasonable precautions to secure Equipment during use.

12. Recalls

In the rare event that a piece of rented Equipment becomes subject to a manufacturer recall during your rental period, FCBR will contact you promptly with instructions, which may include immediate return or exchange of the item.

13. Photography & Marketing

FCBR may photograph Equipment for internal and marketing purposes. We do not photograph inside private residences without express permission, and any customer photos or testimonials used in marketing will only be used with Customer's consent.

14. Affiliate & Partner Bookings

If your reservation was made through an affiliate, concierge, property manager, or third-party platform, these Terms still govern the rental relationship directly between you and FCBR unless otherwise stated in writing.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your rental shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in St. Johns County, Florida [adjust if you'd prefer Georgia venue for Golden Isles bookings, or a dual-venue clause].

16. Changes to These Terms

FCBR reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
